The road to Revolution Coffee is like a maze in a wuxia novel where the buildings shift and you find yourself lost -- and lost again; even Google maps can't find it. Either look out for the biggest gray building named Infinite Studios, or bring bread crumbs, Hansel and Gretel.

The food was not bad but what a pity we came at an inopportune moment when few items were available. I wonder if it is better to close the restaurant for a few days, figure out the menu, taste the dishes, and re-open when ready, than to keep it open, disappointing guests during this interim.

AEIOU Cafe, Jalan Besar: The Smell of Nostalgia is Sewage

As café culture in Singapore matures, the standard rises. And AEIOU is a result of the high standards. It is lovable, and magical, and every tiny detail is well-considered. I like this cafe, and opine it as one of the better cafes to open this year.
